About the Designer

Jennifer Taylor is the visionary founder of Mie Shi, a couture brand designed for stylish, voluptuous women who embody bold elegance and sensual confidence.

 

Jennifer was born in Houston, TX and raised in Bay City, TX by her beloved grandmother Ms. Odie Lee Thomas, who taught her the art of sewing at an early age. Through 20 years of tailoring and alteration work, Jennifer bloomed into her own creativity and designed custom pieces for clients.

 

Following the heartbreaking loss of her daughter, Tiffine Christine, Jennifer reignited her dream of becoming a fashion designer and creative director of her own brand. Her work became a vessel of healing, empowerment, and creative expression. Now, her designs walk international runways as she continues to honor her daughter’s joyful spirit through fashion.
